NEWS (OLD)
03/06/07- [link] This link is about an artist having blatantly false charges of terrorism placed against him. It's obviously politcally driven to shut him up because he speaks out for the underdog and tries to let the public keep informed on important issues the US government would rather us remain ignorant and therefore complacent about.

You can see why it's important enough of a point to raise in a mostly unrelated club. (People like Kyo could get arrested for performing a concert that criticizes the government XP That's my reason for posting this and I'm sticking to it!)

Please fellow Kyo fans, read about it. If you're informed, you're already helping to protect your rights to legally criticize the US government (who really NEEDS to be criticized at the moment >_< ) .

This also gives me an idea for our next contest. Details will be provided at a future date.

9/02/06- Hey, ~ManuelMishonu reporting for duty once more! Anyway, our contest is still happening! Please submit if you have time. I know school just started for many of you out there, so I'm going to make the deadline September 23rd. (The first day of Fall, folks.) There's a new prize for the winners of our contest, as their picture will be displayed in our gallery for many to see. Exciting, huh? On another note, the creator of this club ~dudeitstegan is officially retiring as an administrator. One more thing. I added a "General Kyo Art Submissions" section, which yields no winning, nor is a contest. It is general Kyo art for display. (You can submit art by note). Have a nice day!
7/10/06-It's about time we had another contest! Hmmm....as for the theme??? It's summer time, and I know everyone usually hates their crappy summer jobs. SO! draw Kyo working a summer job(that has nothing to do with the band). Examples: fast food resturants, lawn care, etc. BE CREATIVE!

6/4/06- It has been confirmed that Dir en Grey will not be performing at the first three shows of the Family Values Tour in the United States, because they have a couple of Tokyo shows they were preschedualed for. link here: [link]
they are not coming to the States until August 4th.

5/29/06- Phew, finals are finally over for a lot of us, with still some remaining. I've got a job for over the summer, and so I'll leave you all in some capable hands. I'll be at camp all summer, so I don't know how much I'll be online. I'll miss you all though!

03/09/06- A new contest has begun. It's a general contest, and the only theme is "Kyo", so it's basically a free for all. ~_^ We've also got a new affiliate and two new members.
02/26/06- Dir en Grey is playing in the USA. They're only making 3 stops. They're basically testing, because tours are expensive, and if they flop, they can really hurt profits. Anyway, They're stopping in California, Texas, and New York. I believe the Texas stop is industry only. The NY one sold out in a presale, and I'm not sure about the California one, but they probably sold out really quick too. Guess what though. Even though most of us fans won't be able to see them first time around, it means that they're very popular. That means they're definately coming back. I'll try to keep updated on when they're coming again.
02/03/06- Welcome to the new month! I, ~ManuelMishonu, am back. Sorry for the lateness everyone. I've been fighting off this cold. x.x We're starting a new contest soon, and if anyone has any ideas, don't be shy! Please note us! We have a new affiliate, and 4 new members.
01/20/06- I'm sick, spring semester just started, and my 20th birthday is on the 26th of this month. I'm taking a little break, just so you all know. You can definately still note asking to join, and I'll get to it when I get back, or Tegan might update. I'm not sure. 10/24/05- Let's start a new contest. I'm currently brainstorming, so if anyone wants to input their ideas, they can note the club or comment on this journal entry. I have nothing solid as of yet, and Halloween can't be done this year because we'd need more time for the contest. I am leaning towards a holiday emotion theme. Also, welcome our newest members. We sure have a lot of them this time. XD
10/22/05- The contest is over. The voting turnout was dissappointing compared to 92 members. We only got 5 votes. The winner is announced below. The other contest is closed, due to low participation. (I'm sorry for the one person who entered.)

10/13/05- I'm sorry for those of you who are still working on the chibi Kyo entries, but the contest needs to be ended and it finally has the necessary amount to appropriately end. 9/28/05- Tegan has spoken. We need 5 entries before closing the contest which has been extended (chibi Kyo). We currently have 2.
9/28/05- My entry to the chibi Kyo contest has been entered. Waiting for one more before I can close the contest. (If you're working on one, note me or comment to this journal entry so the contest won't close before you bring it in. I'd be happy to have 2, 3, or even 4 more entries!)
9/26/05- I ( ~ManuelMishonu ~_^) have decided to join the contests too. Partly due to low turnout, but also because now I have more free time on my hands then the first few weeks of school. Come enter the contests if you dare to face me. ( I'll play fair.) May the best entries win! This means that the mod pick awards will be solely judged by ~dudeitstegan . Remember, even though we haven't come up with the prizes yet doesn't mean you won't get public recognition among our 80-some members if you win.

8/25/05 - who is this person and what is she doing in the kyo-love account?! yep, I updated (the other mod that never does anything). and am glad I did, cause we got 1 new member. ok, so I don't know when the last time the other mod updated the list was, but I do know that although only adding 1 person to the list saves me some unneeded effort, it also makes me sad. sad enough to waste all that effort typing this up. so go tell your friends, and if you don't have our icon up somewhere, you better put it up. or you'll die. soon.

7/24/05- I have a couple of general announcements.
1. We'd love for some more entries to the contest, more affiliates, and more members.

4. Random Kyo facts and updates are always interesting for other members to see in our comment boards. (Don't be afraid to comment and stuff! ^_^) Please feel free to participate and talk to eachother. Plus, I really suggest you check out eachother's galleries. We have a lot of really talented members. (That's why I'm wondering why we don't have many entries into the contest just yet...) Let's all together make this fun for the Kyo fans, by the Kyo fans.
